My father as a Liberator told me a little of his experience at Dachau, and dad was in tears as he told me.
I attended a good number of Dachau Memorials surrounding 29th April 2017, Liberation day.
It was a great pleasure to meet such lovely Survivors and their families, also the very caring representatives of the Church, and the members of the Dachau and Holocaust committee during this time. So much so, that I've never stopped researching and learning about Dachau since, nor have I stopped wondering, how I can find and help everyone connected to Dachau in some way.
There is so much more to learn, and so do please tell me all about your Dachau and Liberation stories, by doing this, we can all learn a great deal more, and maybe we could all meet up one day at Dachau as well.
Please include within your message below 'where possible', full names, birth and death dates, the military unit, regiment and division, 'anything' in fact, it'll just be great to hear from you.
Also, don't forget, do please tell me if you have any treasured photographs, papers, and or items.
